Tonight’s pasta extravaganza

I’m trying to save money, and I’m also one of those people who can eat the same thing everyday for a week, so I’ve decided to start making a big batch of pasta on Sunday to take with me for lunch.

Tonight is more or less the same as last week’s, except I didn’t have any fresh peppers, so I’m substituting pickled jalapenos, which I *love*, adding some black olives, and cooking the sausage fresh (it’s been popping in the oil on extreme low heat for 45 minutes now). Oh, and I stocked up on fresh garlic (it’s ready to go in the press — the best kitchen gadget I ever blew money on).

Question by Jerry L: Whats a good cheap way to sanitize my cooking utensils as I cook?
I am looking for an effective but cheap way to sanitize my utensils as I cook. I usually put them in a sanitize solution as I cook, but thats expensive. Any ideas other than plain water?

Clorox is cheap!!! a quarter cup in a pan of water will sanitize almost anything.

I use clorox water to wipe down cutting boards, counters, stove, anything and everything other than the fine silver or crystal. It will destroy them, so keep them away until you have done everything else in the kitchen first.

Question by Regular girl: I found a job and my husband falls out of love for me!?
At least that is my assumption. I had been looking for a job for 3 months after my graduation.. i was desperate and we were short REALLY SHORT on cash. So, I think it was natural for both of us to feel relieved when I was hired but instead of feeling happy he’s become hostile. I will earn more than him but he knew this was going to happen. I went to college and he is comfortable in his security guard job (which is fine). But why does he have to act like an asshole with me?

All I am thinking about is him, new clothes for him, new gadgets for him, him, him, him.. and all he thinks is “i’m not a man if you earn more than me!, you always get tod o what you want, you never give me a chance, you control everything, you’ll earn more, i feel like a failure, you did go to college” blah blah blah…

I feel like he even hates me, like he despises the same air that i breath, it’s getting ridiculous. I honestly just want to smack him out of his misery. I give him my all, i cook, iron, clean, take him lunch, blow him, anything.. and he still treats me like if getting a job is just to annoy him.

I don’t want to fishing out for his approval or love or whatever… I am tired of not being able to be myself because i feel that i intoxicate him with me presence.
